Peace, Diplomacy and Dialogue

Isabel Bramsen is Director of Peace and Conflict Studies and Associate Professor at Lund University.

She has published over 30 publications, most recently, the book ’The Micro-Sociology of Peace and Conflict’ at Cambridge University Press.

Her research focuses on diplomacy, dialogue, peace talks and nonviolent resistance in a variety of contexts in the Middle East, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Isabel Bramsen is a member of Nordic Women Mediators (NWM), chairman of the board in Peace Research Sweden and mediator at Centre for Conflict Resolution (CFK).

Isabel Bramsen is listed at Berlingske's Talent 100 list and the recipient of Hesbjerg Peace Prize and the Peace Emerging Scholar Award from the International Studies Association.
